Simple Smoked Trout
- 1 whole trout
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Sea salt
Fillet the trout to make two trout fillets. Place skin side down in a preheated smoker and smoke for 7 minutes. Turn the fillets so they are flesh side down and smoke for an additional 7 minutes. Peel the skin from each fillet, season with olive oil and salt as desired, and serve with your favorite dressing or sauce.
